Turn everyday activity into a lasting challenge
Find Golden Sectors
New Golden Sectors appear across the map each day. Collect one for 50 bonus points and claim its sector plus the eight surrounding sectors.
Build your Largest Square
Complete a solid square of connected sectors. Its real location is outlined on your map, and its side length cubed contributes to your score.
Maintain a daily streak
Record tracking activity on consecutive days. A qualifying best streak remains part of your score even if your current streak resets.
Climb the leaderboards
Compare total scores worldwide or join the weekly race, which counts sectors collected from Monday at 00:00 UTC.
Spectate other explorers
Players can optionally share their collected sectors. View a shared map and Largest Square without seeing trails or collection dates.
Plan the next route

Designed for human-powered exploration
Tracking that responds to your conditions
New sectors are recorded only when your speed is below 25 km/h and reported GPS accuracy is within 15 meters. Tracking pauses when either limit is exceeded and resumes when both are valid.
Choose High GPS activity for more frequent updates and a more detailed trail, or Low to reduce battery use on longer activities.

What is Sector Collector?
Sector Collector is a GPS-based location game for walking and cycling. The world is divided into 100 × 100 meter sectors that you collect by entering them while tracking conditions are valid.
Can I collect sectors while driving?
No. The game is intended for walking and cycling. New sectors are not recorded at speeds of 25 km/h or higher.
What happens when GPS accuracy is poor?
Tracking pauses when your device reports accuracy worse than 15 meters. It resumes automatically when both speed and accuracy return to valid levels.
How does a Golden Sector work?
Golden Sectors are generated daily. Each can be collected once per user that day, awarding 50 bonus points and marking the Golden Sector plus its eight neighbors as collected.
Is sector sharing required?
No. Sharing is off by default. If enabled, other players can spectate your collected sectors and Largest Square, but they cannot see your trail or collection dates.
Does my progress synchronize?
Yes. Sign in with a supported account provider to save and synchronize gameplay progress, then choose the nickname shown on the leaderboard.
